This is perhaps my most personal track on this album, as the lyrics and composition are representative of my reflective feelings on my sisters death and my own depression and suicidal thoughts. Aside from this, the piece was originally intended to be a neo-folk song (as you may tell from the melodies); however a lack of proper recording equipment at the time caused me to turn this into some sort of folkish ambient music. I like the end result, however I do intend to re-record this with acoustic guitars (and keeping the strings/flute/piano) and perhaps release that later through my other project Hollow on the Lake.
